About the Master
Xoliqova
Feruza
For decades, Feruza Xolikova has been preserving and passing down the ancient craft traditions of Baysun — a region recognized by UNESCO as part of humanity's cultural heritage. Feruza preserves the history, traditions, and labor of the artisans who convey culture through ornaments, fabrics, embroidery, and details. Such garments carry character, soul, and a unique energy that mass production can never replicate. Sometimes, one small detail can tell more about a culture than a thousand words.
“Each stitch is a word, each pattern is a story from our ancestors.”
